There are changemakers in every community
Signature Community Initiatives
Through our signature community initiatives, we are committed to the wellbeing of the people we serve.
Club 1810 Youth Club
Our youth club will provide a safe and trusted meeting space for children and young people, helping to protect them from negative influences such as juvenile nuisance, anti-social behaviour, crime, as well as drug and alcohol misuse. Young people will participate in a wide range of recreational activities, including gaming, sport, adventure, educational workshops, and challenges.
Scout Association
Children will develop skills for life and enjoy all that scouting has to offer: Enjoying exciting outdoor activities, taking part in community projects, gaining awareness of the needs of others, learning about nature, developing creative skills, leadership and teamwork skills, making lifelong friendships, and most of all, having a great deal of fun.
Fitness & Sport Clubs
Harnessing the power of sport as a unifying force, we are committed to helping kids reach their full capabilities and creating further equal playing fields for everyone.
Educational Masterclasses
We aim to enhance and support school learning with extra academic and educational themed classes, workshops, and one-to-one tutor sessions that will support key-stage early learners, as well as GCSE and A-Level examination support.
Community Clean-Up
A great way to inspire our young changemakers by regularly coming together to help clean up the local environment, while actively encouraging people not to drop litter and to take pride in where they live.
Gardening Club
Gardening with young people is a great way to spark interest in the natural world. It can serve as the first window into the fascinating workings of our planet; discovering where our food comes from, improving health and wellbeing, and looking after the environment - big motivators for the next generation.
Homeless Support
Working towards a brighter future for those struggling and in need, and also anyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness in the Bradford district.
Community Kitchen
Our community kitchen and fridge aims to help make the world a better place by creating friendships and helping our neighbourhood feel more connected. By bringing people together from different backgrounds through the power of a shared meal, people will be able to enjoy a hot meal in an environment free of discrimination and prejudice.
